This means that as a 2021, 2023/2023 UTME, or Direct Entry (DE) candidate you can change from your old number to a new number, however, there are a few things to put into consideration before doing so.
How To Change JAMB Phone Number (Old To New)
UTME Phone Number Correction Before And After Registration:
- Walk Into any JAMB Office Near you if you are in this category
- You must present an affidavit that clearly states that your old GSM Phone number belonged to you. (You can get an affidavit from any court near you)
- The next step is VERIFICATION, you must be verified using biometrics at the JAMB office.
- Once the verification with biometrics and confirmation is completed. The new phone number can be supplied. This must be entered twice.
- The affidavit must be uploaded before the new GSM Phone Number can be updated against you.
- After the update, you can then use a RESEND command from the new Phone number to retrieve or create a JAMB profile code for 2022/2023 UTME registration.
