UNICAL Ranked 5th Best University In Nigeria
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has been ranked among the top five best universities in Nigeria, by AD Scientific Index, a leading global ranking body based in Turkey.
The ranking, which was contained in the list of 2021 “World Scientists and University Rankings’’ according to a UNILORIN bulletin issued on Monday, cited the University of Calabar as the fifth-best university in Nigeria on the rankings based on the quality of their scientists.

If UNICAL ranks this high then it’s obviously a further evidence that things are not as it should be in Nigeria. We need better systems in place, we’ve got to break out of this vicious cycle of national mediocrity sometime.
