The Director, Mr Dennis Okoro, at the 2021 MTN Scholarship Award and Induction ceremony in Lagos disclosed that the MTN Foundation has awarded over N3 billion in scholarships to no fewer than 4,212 students in the country over the past 12 years.
He added that this year, the foundation had awarded scholarships to 370 students in various tertiary institutions.
He said the recipients included 300 Science and Technology students in tertiary institutions, 60 blind students in any discipline and 10 best performing students in UTME examinations.
