The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is set to continue its lingering strike after a press conference today.

This was arrived at after a heated and stormy ASUU National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the union yesterday in Abuja.

Report also has it that the Union will likely declare an indefinite strike.

JUST IN: ASUU has declared its six-month-old strike indefinitely until the Federal Government meets its demands.

    I see ASUU, as self-centered and inconsiderate. This is not the time for fight to finish. Since we all the inadequacy of this govt. Let them sheath their sword for now. Another point is that they engaged themselves in part-time job in private universities. They don’t feel the pain and the effect of what they are doing. Also, some of them have their children schooling overseas.

      I pray may the God I saved should do the same as FG did to nigeria students because you can believe what the FG make us today, so they can go and borrow money for there own interests of selfishness but they can borrow a kobo to develop education
