LASU Announces Medical Screening Date For New Students

LASU Medical Screening Date for For New Students has been announced. Details are as follows:

The Lagos State University Directorate of Health Services is set to commence the 2022 Medical Screening for the newly admitted students on Monday, 15th August 2022.

Newly admitted students are expected to be scheduled in batches of 70 – 100 per day by the Directorate of Information, Communication Technology (DICT) for the all-important medical screening exercise.

The University Health Services will strictly adhere to the COVID – 19 Prevention Protocols during the exercise.

All the newly admitted student, parents/guardians and members of staff (Teaching and Non – Teaching) are expected to adhere strictly to the schedule as the Directorate pleads that they should not interfere with the process.

Requirements:

• Printed copy of the medical screening scheduled date

• Two (2) recent passport photographs

• Copy of receipt of payment for medical screening

• Writing materials

To take part in the Screening, new students are instructed to adhere to the following steps:

1. Visit your LACACA portal to download your medical schedule.
2. Using the existing login parameters, medical clearance has now been integrated with registration.
3. Regular handwashing or use of hand sanitiser
4. Maintenance of a physical distancing of at least 2 metres
5. Avoidance of gathering at any spot during the exercise.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, only medically cleared students will be eligible for registration.
7. Students should note that only those cleared on the LACACA platform will be eligible for Medical Clearance.
