The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME Result Statistics, the number of those that registered for each school in Nigeria, the number of candidates that score high, and those that scored low.

According to the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) are the first two institutions that had the highest numbers of candidates who selected them as first choice universities in Nigeria.

  1. Total Number of Registered 2022 UTME/DE Candidates: 1, 837, 011

  2. Number of Released Results: 000000

  3. Number of With-held Results: Released

A further breakdown shows that 168,613 candidates scored between 200 and 249, which he said is a significant improvement from the 2022 results.

JAMB has disclosed that about 1, 837, 011 candidates have been registered in the ongoing UTME/DE registration as at 26th March 2022.
