a) Know Your School of Choice JAMB Cut off Mark

The first thing you are to look out for is your school of choice JAMB Cut off mark for the year.

These will help you to know if you are qualified for admission to your school of choice or NOT.

However, if your JAMB Score is above 200 automatically you are qualified for admission into any University in Nigeria.

b) Get To know the departmental Cut off Mark for your course of choice

After knowing your school of choice cut off mark, the next thing is to determine the past departmental cut off mark for your course of choice and the number of candidates that applied for that year, compared to the number that applied this year, this will also help you to know your stand.

Remember, the higher the number of applicants the higher the cut-off mark, and the lower the number of applicants the lower the cut-off mark for that particular year, it all varies.

c) Consider a Change of Course or Institution If Possible

After knowing your school of choice JAMB and Departmental cut-off mark the next thing is to logically consider your JAMB Score to see if you still have a chance of being admitted or Not.

If your JAMB score is low, it’s advisable you consider a less competitive course.

See How to gain admission with a low JAMB Score Here.

Once you have confirmed the above information, you can then proceed to apply for a change of course or institution if possible.

 d) Purchase your school of choice Post UTME or Screening form once it’s Out

Despite UTME exams, some institutions like UNICAL, UNILAG, UNN do conduct Post UTME after Main UTME exams while some consider screening e.g UNIUYO.

It’s in your own interest to know which is considered by your school of choice.

However, once the Post UTME or Screening form is made available for public consumption don’t hesitate to pick and apply.

Remember that failure to participate in the Post UTME or screening process automatically disqualifies you from being considered for admission for that particular year.

Always visit our website constantly for the admission screening information of your school of choice.

e) Wait For Admission List

Finally, wait for your school of choice admission list.

After your admission screening exercise or Post UTME exams, the next thing is to wait for your school to release the Admission list.
